Resident Evil Revelations 2 Episode 2: Contemplation Review | Hardcore Gamer

Hardcore Gamer: "Capcom is following through with their plan to release an episode of Resident Evil Revelations 2 a week, and what a week it is. Even though there are apparent issues with enemy variety, the episodic experience started off strong, introducing a tense atmosphere and enjoyable gameplay mechanics. With two of the series favorite characters at the helm, Claire Redfield and Barry Burton, theres surely little that can go wrong. For a spin-off title in Capcoms biggest franchise, Resident Evil Revelations 2 has all the potential to help setup and make groundbreaking changes that could be implemented into the next mainline title."

Show of the Week: 4 Forgotten Resident Evil Games They Should Remaster

Added: 03.03.2015 17:10 | 1 views | 0 comments

OX: "The recent Resident Evil HD Remaster was the best selling digital title ever for Resident Evil publisher Capcom. So if you were Capcom, what would you be doing right now? That's right: frantically remastering every old Resident Evil game in existence. As there have been 11,000 Resident Evil games, though, that will take ages. If I were you, Capcom, I would stick to these four."

Resident Evil Revelations 2: Episode 2 Review - GotGame

"Episode 2 of the episodic survival horror game Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is much more than a simple continuation, amping up the difficulty and, at the same time, the gameplay variations. It doesnt change the formula of the game, but innovates by introducing new boss fights, the necessity of cooperation, and a more fast paced approach."

Resident Evil Revelations 2 - Episode 2: Contemplations Review | Gamerevolution

GR: Episode 2 of Resident Evil: Revelations 2 was better, albeit marginally, if for no other reason than Capcom made the determination it couldn't get any worse. (Even though it could. I mean, we've all played Resident Evil 6, right? It could have gotten worse.) The first thing to note about Episode 2 is that the difficulty ramps up, and while it doesn't seem like much at the beginning, about midway through Claire and Moira's mission, I was simply praying to the gaming gods for some mercy. There were a couple of times I had to face my own embarrassment of having to do a particular section over and over. During a specific chase scene, it took me ten failed attempts before I actually got it.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 Episode 2 Review: Teamwork is Barry Important | Lazygamer

LG: It feels just like yesterday that I reviewed the first episode of Capcoms latest Resident Evil title, Revelations 2. It was a solid start to the season, leaving me with a healthy craving for the next instalment. If youre eagerly awaiting the next episode too, the good news is that itll be out soon. The bad news is that well there is none. I thought it was just as good as the first episode, if not a teeny bit better. Episode 2 continues the story with Claire Redfield and Moira Burton finding two of their TerraSave comrades, Gabriel Chavez and Pedro Fernandez. The four of them team up to find supplies for a nearby vehicle that may aid their escape. Gone are the claustrophobic corridors of the prison in episode 1. Instead, players are thrown into a more open, village/town environment, which is unfortunately also crawling with enemies.
